Who needs to pay registration fees?
All persons wishing to physically attend ICEM16 in Bangkok during November 24-26th 2025, whether to present their work or observe, whether an author of a submitted work or not, each need to pay a registration fee.
Examples
A group of 5 submitted to ICEM16 and have been accepted, 3 out of 5 members are able to physically come to the conference: the 3 people that are coming to the conference must pay a valid registration fee.
A group of 2 submitted to ICEM16 and have been accepted, both authors are able to physically come to the conference, in addition, a colleague who was not involved in the abstract wishes to physically attend ICEM16: all 3 must pay a valid registration fee.
Someone who wishes to attend the conference but did not submit an abstract or their abstract was not accepted: they must pay a valid registration fee.
How much are the registration fees, what is a valid registration fee, when do I need to pay?
Registration fees and dates are listed in the table below.
A valid registration fee is the fee that fits your registration location and status. For example, a graduate student accepted author or observer from Thailand during early registration can register as student (3,500 THB), while a postdoc accepted author or observer from Thailand must register as a regular (5,000 THB).
Graduate students (masters, PhD) and below count as students.
How can I pay the registration fee?
Via credit card at our online portal https://www.fsci-events.kmutt.ac.th/register/ICEM16/register/, you may also purchase an eco-tour at the same time.
If you have co-authors, each co-author's information needs to be entered separately and payment occurs separately. If you have 3 authors that are presenting, then you must fill in information and pay at the form above 3 times. We apologize for the inconvenience.
While the fees are all in THB, we absorb any transaction and processing fees.
We will email you confirmation within 1 hour, and a receipt 1-2 business days after your payment has completed.
For attendees residing in Thailand who are unable to pay via credit card
You may pay by bank transfer. You will receive a receipt from us at the event. If you are able to pay via credit card, we highly encourage you to do so as you will receive a confirmation within 1 hour and a receipt emailed to you within 2-3 business days.
Please follow these steps:
1. Please fill out the form at https://www.fsci-events.kmutt.ac.th/register/ICEM16/register/ and press “Proceed to Payment”.
2. You will be redirected to a payment gateway for credit cards, please press “Cancel”.
3. You will redirected to the Fsci Events, which will say “Payment Cancelled”, please take a screenshot or print a PDF of this page, be sure to include references and the total amount.
4. Pay the total amount to the accounts in the image below and keep receipts. Any transfer fees are the responsibility of the sender. The account name should be "King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi" or "มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี"
5. Email registration.icem16@kmutt.ac.th
a. Use the title “Registration via bank transfer Ref 1: [insert your reference 1 from the payment cancelled page here]”
b. Attach a copy of the payment receipt
c. Attach a copy of the payment cancelled page
d. Leave your name in the body of the email.
